Ultra-Aggressive Bonding for Technical Fabrics
Formulated with a specialized ultra-aggressive adhesive, Tenacious Tape forms a permanent bond that won't peel away, even when exposed to storms, extreme cold, or repeated washing. It sticks securely to technical outdoor fabrics including 70D nylon, ripstop nylon, polyester, fleece, rubber, non-oiled leather, vinyl, and waterproof-breathable membranes like GORE-TEX®.
Application Manual / How to Apply
- Preparation: Clean the damaged area thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt, grease, and oils. Allow the surface to dry completely.
- Cut to Size: Trim the Tenacious Tape so it extends at least 12–15 mm (0.5 inches) beyond the edges of the tear. Pro tip: Round the corners of the patch with scissors to prevent edge peeling.
- Apply: Peel away the paper backing, position the tape flat over the rip, and press firmly from the center outwards to push out any air bubbles.
- Cure Time: The bond is immediate for outdoor use. Wait 24 hours before machine washing or heavy flex stress to allow full adhesive cure.
