The Morakniv Garberg Arctic White Limited Edition commemorates a historic milestone in Scandinavian cutlery: 135 years of Morakniv craftsmanship and a full decade of the legendary Garberg flagship series. Designed to excel in uncompromising sub-zero terrain, its Arctic White configuration naturally blends into frozen winter environments while delivering full-tang durability where gear failure is simply not an option.
This release is strictly capped at 1,350 units in Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel and 1,350 units in black DLC-coated C100S carbon steel, with each individual blade serialized via precision laser engraving. The blade features an authentic Scandi grind with a primary angle of 26–28° paired with a protective 37–38° micro-bevel, yielding incredible wood-carving bite, easy field maintenance, and structural strength for batoning frozen timber. Both the crisp 90° blade spine and the protruding full-tang pommel are explicitly ground to throw showers of sparks with ferrocerium rods.
The barrel-shaped ergonomic handle is injection-molded from rugged Grilon polyamide (PA), adorned with a heritage-inspired Dalarna geometric texture that ensures non-slip traction in wet, freezing slush or when wearing thick insulated winter mitts. A pronounced integrated finger guard and a rear lanyard hole maximize control and retention during strenuous cutting chores.
