Microporous Cold-Resistant PU Sole & Thermal Insulation
The latest generation of these Norwegian military-style overboots features an upgraded microporous cold-resistant polyurethane (PU) sole. This specialized sole creates an effective barrier against cold ground creep while drastically reducing overall weight (~800 g) and operating quietly across frozen terrain. The upper shaft consists of a durable, water-repellent yet breathable textile that prevents internal condensation, lined with plush thermal insulation that stays flexible down to -30°C.
Ergonomic Entry & Secure Weather Seal
Putting on overboots over bulky footwear is effortless thanks to a full-length waterproof zipper that opens all the way down to the toe, backed by an outer velcro storm flap. Inside, a fast-lock tightening strap secures the overboot around your shoe, while the top of the shaft features an elastic cordlock drawstring to seal out rain, mud, and snow.
These overboots are designed for rapid crossing of wet mud, slush, ditches, and deep snow patches over your regular boots. They are not rubber waders or wellingtons intended for standing submerged in deep water for extended periods.
