Genuine German Bundeswehr Flecktarn Waterproof Wet Weather Bib Pants (Used)
The Original German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) Flecktarn Wet Weather Bib Pants are the official foul-weather rain trousers issued to German soldiers in the field. Designed as the lower half of the famous Bundeswehr wet-weather suit, these trousers pair an ultra-durable shell with a high-performance waterproof membrane, making them a staple for hunters, bushcrafters, anglers, hikers, and airsoft players.
Being genuine issued military equipment, these bib pants are in used surplus condition. They show honest, field-used character—such as light wear, faded contract markings, or subtle color variations—while remaining fully intact, weatherproof, and ready for heavy field use.
3-Layer PTFE Waterproof & Breathable Technology
The shell features a robust three-layer laminated fabric (marked as 3 Lagen Laminat on official issue labels) bonded with a 100% PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene / Gore-Tex class) membrane. All interior seams are factory-taped and sealed to eliminate leak points. The high-rise bib design and adjustable elastic H-back suspenders ensure your waist stays fully covered and protected, even when bending, crouching, or wading through deep brush.
Functional Field Features
- High-Rise Bib Front: Snap-button waist closure with a heavy-duty storm fly zipper.
- Pass-Through Pocket Zips: Two side-zippered openings allow direct access to pockets on trousers worn underneath.
- Gusseted Ankle Zips: Long side zippers on lower legs allow effortless donning and doffing over muddy combat boots.
- Iconic Flecktarn Camouflage: Proven 5-color pattern designed for temperate European woodland environments.
- Contract Manufacturers: Manufactured by official German defense suppliers such as GE Profistyle Kayser GmbH, Feuchter Ringelai, and others.
Care & Maintenance for Membrane Gear
To preserve and restore the waterproof and breathable properties of used PTFE/Gore-Tex surplus garments, we recommend washing these trousers with dedicated technical detergents (such as Nikwax Tech Wash or Granger's). Avoid standard household laundry detergents or fabric softeners, as they can clog membrane pores and strip the factory DWR coating.
