Baofeng UV-17E 5W  is a handheld radio with a maximum power of 5 watts. It is equipped with a DMTF keyboard, a dual LCD display and a built-in flashlight. The radio is equipped with a 7.4 V lithium-ion battery with a capacity of  1800 mAh ,  and  the radio is charged via the USB-C port.

A characteristic function of the radio is  Dual Watch , i.e. listening to two channels. This allows you to monitor two different frequencies - priority is given to the frequency on which the incoming call appears.

It has 99 channels, so the conversation will not be disturbed by other radio users. Under favorable conditions, in open terrain,  the range is up to 10 km . Communication is improved by an automatic mute system and a signal ending transmission. The radio meets the IP54 standard - it provides complete protection against dust ingress and against splashes and light rain falling from any direction.

The radio has a  Kenwood K1 connector , thanks to which you can connect headphones with a microphone (included), a dedicated microspeaker or shooting hearing protection to the Baofeng.

The radio can be programmed from the keyboard or computer via a USB cable. In addition, the software is equipped with many functions that facilitate grouping and identification. The VOX function   allows you to start broadcasting on the radio using your voice, without the need to press the PTT button.

We ship across Estonia using Omniva and DPD parcel terminals. You can also choose to pick up your order personally from our Tallinn store.

How fast will I receive my order?

In-stock products are usually dispatched within 1–2 business days. For items marked "On order" or "Tellimisel," delivery may take up to 15 business days.

3. Returns & Claims

Can I return a product if it doesn't fit?

Yes, a 14-day return right applies to products purchased from the online store. The product must be unused, in its original packaging, and with tags attached. Underwear and hygiene products cannot be returned.

Items purchased from the physical store cannot be returned for a refund; however, we can exchange them for a gift card or another product. Used products cannot be returned.

How do I return a product?

Please contact us at info@milshed.com to arrange the return method. In Estonia, returns via parcel terminal are usually free.

What happens if a product breaks?

Private individuals have a 2-year right to file a claim. If a defect appears within the first 6 months, it is assumed it existed at the time of purchase (manufacturing defect).
