Restore your gear's waterproofing and breathability

Nikwax TX.DIRECT® SPRAY-ON is a high-performance spray-on waterproofer, specifically designed to prolong the life of waterproof membrane clothing and gear. This easy-to-use spray improves breathability and restores a strong Durable Water Repellency (DWR) finish.

The product is perfect for treating Gore-Tex®, Sympatex®, eVent®, Texapore, Nikwax Analogy®, and other waterproof membrane garments. Unlike Wash-In waterproofers, the Spray-On version is the best choice for clothing with thick and moisture-wicking liners, as it is applied only to the outer surface.

What is important to know before treatment?

  • Cleaning is essential: Before application, the garments must be washed clean. For best results, we recommend using Nikwax® Tech Wash®.
  • Avoid fabric softeners: Their use is strictly prohibited as they destroy the properties of the technical membrane.
  • Suitable for wet clothing: Garments do not need to be dried before applying the waterproofer.

Easy instructions for use

  1. Shake the bottle well before use.
  2. Lay the clean, washed item flat on a clean work surface, protected from overspray.
  3. Hold the spray bottle about 15 cm away from the garment.
  4. Spray evenly over the entire outside of the item.
  5. Wait 2 minutes and then rub in any excess product (e.g., with a clean damp cloth).
  6. Check the item carefully to ensure no areas have been missed.
  7. Let air dry – no heat treatment is required to activate the water repellency. Always follow the instructions on the packaging!

1. Orders & Shipping

What are the shipping methods?

We ship across Estonia using Omniva and DPD parcel terminals. You can also choose to pick up your order personally from our Tallinn store.

How fast will I receive my order?

In-stock products are usually dispatched within 1–2 business days. For items marked "On order" or "Tellimisel," delivery may take up to 15 business days.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship across Europe. To see the exact shipping cost, please enter your address during checkout or contact us directly.

3. Returns & Claims

Can I return a product if it doesn't fit?

Yes, a 14-day return right applies to products purchased from the online store. The product must be unused, in its original packaging, and with tags attached. Underwear and hygiene products cannot be returned.

Items purchased from the physical store cannot be returned for a refund; however, we can exchange them for a gift card or another product. Used products cannot be returned.

How do I return a product?

Please contact us at info@milshed.com to arrange the return method. In Estonia, returns via parcel terminal are usually free.

What happens if a product breaks?

Private individuals have a 2-year right to file a claim. If a defect appears within the first 6 months, it is assumed it existed at the time of purchase (manufacturing defect).
