  • The Perun V2 Lightning ETU (Front Wiring) is a professional-grade electronic trigger system engineered to replace conventional switch trolleys and cut-off levers inside Version 2 gearboxes. Routed to the front, this variant is purpose-built for airsoft carbines and compact rifles that house their batteries inside RIS/handguard assemblies or external battery enclosures (such as mock PEQ boxes).

At its technical core, the Lightning ETU utilizes a combination of contactless optical and magnetic sensors, completely eliminating mechanical friction points that are prone to arcing, switch burnout, or mechanical failure. The system handles all gear ratios seamlessly and natively supports high-performance standard brushed motors as well as state-of-the-art brushless (BLDC) motors. It is also fully compatible with Perun tactile accessories, including the Clicker V2, Clicker V2 PRO, and Speeder V2 modules.

Supporting input voltages from 7V up to 17V, the Lightning unit accommodates 2S through 4S Li-Po and Li-Ion power packs. All settings can be adjusted in seconds directly through the weapon's fire selector and trigger without external programming links or cables, guided by acoustic signals and an onboard multi-color LED. Onboard diagnostics actively safeguard against short circuits, mechanical lock-ups, thermal overload, and external magnetic fields, while an audible low-voltage monitor alerts the user at 3.7V per cell.

    • Contactless Optical & Magnetic Tracking: Complete elimination of mechanical cut-off wear and contact oxidation.

    • Brushless (BLDC) Motor Optimization: High-current circuit architecture tailored for modern brushless and standard motors.

    • Precocking & Active Braking: Lightning-fast shot reaction with zero motor overspin or unwanted spring tension.

    • Broad Drop-in Fitment: Direct fit across VFC, Tokyo Marui, Specna Arms, G&G, LCT, Retro Arms, and more.

    • Front Wiring Harness: Pre-soldered with low-resistance wiring and a T-Deans plug for handguard routing.

    • Tactile Module Ready: Directly accepts Perun Clicker V2 / Clicker V2 PRO / Speeder V2 modules.

    • Comprehensive Circuit Protection: Guards against stalls, dead shorts, thermal overload, and Li-Po deep discharge.

  • Important Operational Notes:

    • Always disconnect the battery when the replica is stored; the unit draws a tiny standby current that can slowly drain cells.

    • Never connect power supplies exceeding 17V to avoid permanent semiconductor damage.

    • After running precocking, discharge the mainspring by setting the selector to SEMI and holding the trigger down for approximately 3 seconds.

    • Take care during assembly to seat the wiring harness cleanly in the shell channels and front receiver opening to avoid pinch damage.
