Modeled closely after the iconic American M1 helmet, the M51 served as the standard steel combat helmet for French forces throughout the Indochina and Algerian conflicts into the late 20th century. Offered as an original used military surplus item consisting of the outer steel shell (without inner liner), this helmet features authentic field patina, wear marks, and vintage character. Sold strictly for decoration, film production, re-enactment display, and militaria collection purposes (no protective function).
