When matches get damp and lighters run out of gas, the MFH Survival Fire Steel remains completely operational. Engineered for extreme outdoor conditions, this fire starter is unaffected by wind, rain, snow, or freezing cold. Striking the rod produces massive, thick sparks burning at temperatures over 3,000°C, capable of instantly igniting dry tinder, paper, birch bark, or gas stoves at any altitude.

How to Use:

Before your first use, you must scrape off the protective black coating on the rod using the sharp edge of the scraper to reveal the shiny metal underneath. Once cleared, place the rod close to your tinder pile, hold the scraper at a 45-degree angle, and firmly drag it down the rod to shower your tinder with sparks.

What are the shipping methods?

We ship across Estonia using Omniva and DPD parcel terminals. You can also choose to pick up your order personally from our Tallinn store.

How fast will I receive my order?

In-stock products are usually dispatched within 1–2 business days. For items marked "On order" or "Tellimisel," delivery may take up to 15 business days.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship across Europe. To see the exact shipping cost, please enter your address during checkout or contact us directly.

3. Returns & Claims

Can I return a product if it doesn't fit?

Yes, a 14-day return right applies to products purchased from the online store. The product must be unused, in its original packaging, and with tags attached. Underwear and hygiene products cannot be returned.

Items purchased from the physical store cannot be returned for a refund; however, we can exchange them for a gift card or another product. Used products cannot be returned.

How do I return a product?

Please contact us at info@milshed.com to arrange the return method. In Estonia, returns via parcel terminal are usually free.

What happens if a product breaks?

Private individuals have a 2-year right to file a claim. If a defect appears within the first 6 months, it is assumed it existed at the time of purchase (manufacturing defect).
