East German NVA Infantry Officer Collar Tabs Pair (Kragenspiegel)

Complete your Cold War uniform restoration or militaria display with an authentic matched pair of East German National People's Army (NVA Landstreitkräfte) Infantry Officer Collar Tabs (Kragenspiegel). Sourced directly from unissued former GDR military stocks, these collar tabs showcase the classic uniform insignia worn by officer ranks in the East German Ground Forces.

Branch Identification & Material Details

Each collar tab features a structured backing framed by white branch piping (Waffenfarbe), which historically designated Motorized Infantry (Mot.-Schützen) and Landstreitkräfte formations. Mounted on the base are finely detailed silver-colored metallic officer pillars (Offiziersdoppellitze), providing the official officer-grade insignia required for service tunics (Dienstuniform) and parade dress coats (Paradeuniform).

Unissued Military Surplus Condition

Preserved in clean, unissued military surplus condition, these collar tabs show no stitch removal marks or field wear. They serve as ideal replacement pieces for restoring original East German officer tunics, completing historical reenactment impressions, or displaying in glass-case militaria collections.
