Shadow GearTactical Balaclava & Convertible Hood – Ultimate Head & Facial Protection

Engineered for tactical operations, outdoor duty, motorcycling, and high-intensity workouts, the Shadow GearTactical Balaclava/Hood delivers complete head and facial protection against the elements. Extending well below the neckline for extended coverage, this garment adapts effortlessly to changing conditions—converting smoothly from a full balaclava into a practical neck gaiter with a drop chin for enhanced ventilation and versatility.

Constructed from a premium, durable Cotton Lycra fabric with 4-way stretch fabrication, this balaclava moves with you in any direction without restricting mobility. The lightweight, fast-drying material works hand-in-hand with a signature moisture transport system to wick sweat away and keep your head cool and dry even during hot-weather operations. Integrated UPF 30+ sun protection shields your skin from harmful UV rays, while advanced anti-odor technology prevents the growth of odor-causing microbes for all-day freshness.

Key Features

  • Multi-Mode Conversion: Easily shifts from a full-coverage facial hood to an open neck gaiter.
  • Extended Neckline: Extra-long coverage below the neck prevents gaps under collars and carriers.
  • UPF 30+ Sun Defense: Blocks harmful ultraviolet rays during prolonged outdoor exposure.
  • 4-Way Stretch Mobility: Flexible fabric construction allows unrestricted movement in all directions.
  • Moisture Wicking & Anti-Odor: Keeps you dry, cool, and fresh through active deployment and intensive training.
