The Helikon-Tex MCDU Pants - DyNyCo form the lower half of the next-generation Modern Combat Duty Uniform system, engineered to provide dynamic mobility, moisture transfer, and tactical utility during extended operations with body armor and load-bearing belts.
The core innovation is the DyNyCo base fabric (220 g/m²), which pairs the rugged abrasion resistance of classic military NyCo with 4-way elastic fibers. This prevents bound seams and fabric dragging during aggressive maneuvers like sprints, dynamic transitions, and kneeling. To eliminate friction and improve ventilation where movement is most extreme, anatomical inserts made of VersaStretch® 4-way stretch fabric are positioned through the lower back waistband, crotch gusset, and behind the knees.
High-wear knee zones are reinforced with abrasion-resistant Cordura® 500D fabric and feature internal slip compartments for protective low-profile foam inserts. A total of 12 functional pockets are strategically placed around the thighs and hips, including reinforced clip edges for folding knives, dedicated AR-15 magazine slots, and low-profile cargo bays. Engineered with wide combat-belt loops, lower leg cuff adjusters, and genuine YKK® zippers, the MCDU delivers reliable durability in unpredictable operational climates.
